We’re another week closer to our redemption as we continue to watch the Red Horse riding. Multiple mentions of WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction: "A Great Sword") around the world. A beheading-style attack by a Muslim in Ireland inspired Anti-migrant protests leading to armed ethnic clashes (Along religious lines) throughout the UK. Similar sentiments increasing throughout Europe. This directly parallels the “ethnos against ethnos” (Nation against nation) of Matthew 24:7 we expect to see more of. International conflicts are “kingdom against kingdom”.)
Revelation 6:3-4 (ESV): “When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, ‘Come!'’ And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
The key phrase is “people should slay one another” (sphaxōsin allēlous in the Greek — to slaughter/mutually butcher one another). This describes internal, civil, fratricidal violence — people within the same societies turning on each other.

Ireland protests migrants due to another beheading ignite ethnic conflicts (along religious lines) in the UK and Europe.
Iran reconstituting missile forces and nuclear program. Hormuz remains effectively shut down.
Syria: cooperating with UN inspectors who found large chemical WMD stash (A great sword). Sectarian violence and extrajudicial killings targeting Christians, Alawis, Druze and other religious minorities continue; at least 77 people were killed in the first four months of 2026 with ongoing attacks on houses of worship.
Nigeria: U.S. State Department launched an initiative to track religious violence (including Boko Haram, Fulani militias and other armed groups impacting Christian and Muslim communities).
Israel now controls 70% of Gaza. In Lebanon, Israel issued evacuation warnings for 20 southern towns ahead of imminent offensive operations.
North Korea announced exponential expansion of its nuclear arsenal (Another Great Sword)
Ongoing Russia-Ukraine war momentum shifting; Sudan - Ethnic and religious persecution increasing with mass atrocities and displacement; ethnic/territorial fighting intensifies in DR Congo (Rwanda-backed militias) and Ethiopia-Eritrea border regions; Myanmar civil war and Sahel insurgencies persist; Yemen and Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan,.

Hormuz closure enters its 15th week, resulting in a 95% drop in shipping volume. Countries around the Persian Gulf are low on supplies.
Harvest Damage Locked In: Traffic collapse in Hormuz severed global sulfur and fertilizer supply chains. Urea prices rose 20–60% as major producers idled facilities. ICIS warns that many farmers in Asia, Africa, and Latin America cannot secure supply at any price, guaranteeing lower 2026–2027 crop yields regardless of the any diplomatic resolution.
El Niño risks (61–87% probability by mid-2026) compound threats to rice and other staple production in South Asia, Southern Africa, and East Asia.
Sudan — Famine at Catastrophe Level. 19.5 million Sudanese (41% of the population) face IPC Phase 3+ acute food insecurity. 52.9 million people in West & Central Africa face acute food insecurity during the June–August lean season. Up to 67 million in East & Southern Africa need food assistance.
Middle East Crisis Cascading Globally: WFP's June 2026 report documented ripple effects: Somalia saw 2.5 million more people unable to meet basic food needs; Afghanistan had 2.3 million more pushed into acute hunger; and Sri Lanka had 1.3 million more struggling to afford food. Conflict continuation could push 45 million more people into acute food insecurity globally — on top of the 318 million already in crisis.
