Fellow Watchmen,
This week we saw the last blood moon till after Passover 2028. We are still in the second year of the tribulation since Trumpets 2 Oct 2024 (year 3 begins after 1 Oct) and we’ve seen events and signs in the heavens that seem to indicate the 4 Horsemen of Rev 6 are now riding, their impact growing across the earth. The White Horseman continues influencing US victories, now waging economic wars (the bow without arrows, Rev 6:2; Zech 6:1-3), record ICE arrests, mass visa revocations, and faith directors gov agencies. Meanwhile, the Red Horseman has Russia warning Britain they will hit British assets after their Storm Shadow tech went to Ukraine (Matt 24:6). Planes reserved for World War 3 flew twice last week as US and Russian representatives met together and the US announced they will relocate military troops within NATO.
Globally, wars and conflict are causing the Black Horseman's inflation and famine, (Rev 6:5-6; Matt 24:7; Luke 21:11). Russia and Ukraine made up 1/3 of Global grain exports which are now drastically reduced. 5 of the worlds 7 shipping chokepoints only handle reduced traffic. In Iran, official food inflation is 128.1% as the dollar passed 2 million rials (although subsidized bread is still cheap, about 2 percent of a day’s wage). Global supply chains disrupted as nations look for alternatives to normal supplies. India is diverting ~ 37% of maize to ethanol instead of feed despite rising food costs. (ICIS/Reuters) Sudan and Yemen are already experiencing famine.
Last week we mentioned the probability of the Islamic world seeing most of the prophetic fulfillments (Dan 2:40-43; Rev 6:8 the fourth part). However, as we enter the 3rd year of the tribulation in Oct, we should be prepared for continued natural disasters in various places, international wars and internal conflict, and economic turmoil (not just higher prices and some things no longer available) (Matt 24:6-7). If our local areas are spared, praise God (Ps 91:7-10).
I'm watching a couple of areas for the Pale Horseman. China is seeing a mystery virus with Covid type symptoms and fatalities, Congo is still battling Ebola, neither is a global concern yet. Another thing I'm looking for is false Messiah's announcing themselves. I've only seen 3 with any real following, all in the middle east, I expect more in the future. Cyndee’s Corner
So, it appears that the return of Jesus may be imminent (either that or these are intense birth pains)
Many will be deceived. How do we prepare for this? First, prepare yourself. Knowing the Bible is important, but you must know Jesus. Abide with him. Have an intimate relationship with Him. As each of us is unique, each will have a unique relationship with Him.
Next, prepare your household. I have been to churches with signs on the exit doors: "You are now entering your mission field" But I say, as soon as you open your eyes in the morning, you are entering your mission field.
Are you showing those in your household the same love and grace that you are shown by the Lord? Are you the same person behind closed doors that you are with your friends, at work or at church? Does your family look puzzled or shift uncomfortably in their seats when you are publicly praised?
Granted, each person in your household will make their own decisions, but you don't want to lead them astray by your words or actions. If they don't see the love of the Lord in you, it will be harder for them to want to pursue Him. Them seeing you experience the intimacy of God will help them want to pursue Him as well.
